Help I.D. white slug thingy (1 Viewer)

i was just looking at my tank and found this white slug thingy crawling over my montipora. I have never seen anything like this before and wanted to see if this thing could be safe to keep in the tank or should be taken out, for now its out. Does anyone know what this is? :? I have pics but am having trouble uploading them to the net. This thing is about two inchs long and has little fern type of feathers on it back.

My guess is that its a nudibranch. I'd take it out of your tank as soon as you see it again. I wouldn't risk it. Some nudibrachs eat zoanthids. I had 4 and they did some damage in my tank.

Without a pic its hard to ID though.

i pulled it out of the tank as soon as i saw it just in case it was bad. I've been searching the net and have found many sites with nudibranchs but nothing that matches what i've got.

I had one similar to it...

I asked Dr. Ron on RC and he said it was not reef safe because it more than likely ate soft corals.

The last thing I want to see is a giant slug that takes up more than my enitre 19" screen. :D

Oh well, i was hoping it wasn't bad to have cause it is kinda neat in it's own special way.

You know my life isnt complete if my SW is not all over the floor. 8)
How about I let you borrow my corals again and put some evil crab minions to wreck havoc in your new tank. :p
