Keep an eye on it and go to seaslug.org to see if it's classified. Might be something you want to keep.

I'd say just by looking at it, it's a nudi. And since carnivorous nudis have a habit of looking like the stuff they eat, I'd say he's a predator of soft corals - maybe Anthelia sp., or Xenia. Just a guess.

I woudl say keep it isolated in stable water conditions. I might know someone who wants this Nudibranch.

Well, I checked with my friend and he isn't interested in this particular nudibranch. He thinks it is a tritonid (Family: Tritoniidae), but other than that he can't be sure and better pictures probably won't help (because he isn't familiar with this family). Some tritonids eat soft coral(a bad thing) and some eat hydroids (usually a good thing).

You could try posting your picture on the sea slug forum (www.seaslugforum.net) and see what they say or take a small frag from a soft coral and place it in the QT tank with the nudibranch and see if it will eat it.

What soft corals do you have in your tank?
