Ok, I finally get the tubing and run it to the 210 to start the fill. I've been making some spare RO/DI earlier. Soon as I turn everything off, swap out the tubes and turn it back on....now my pressure pump isn't working. I've disconnected/reconnected etc. It's turning on but the pressure isn't increasing and at my houses 30 PSI it'll take a week to fill. Any ideas??

how big is your unit. I can run a 90gpd (runs more like 100-110) just fine through the hose I also ran a 150gpd when I filled the tank, again no issues and was done in a day and a 1/2. Your pressure significantly increases when you go down to the RODI size. The 150gpd probably didnt run quite at 150gpd, so unless your unit is that big then I think your ok. Do like me and borrow another locals RODI unit and run 2 of them :). I am sure there are plenty of people in the Spring Area willing to help

So the pump is actually turning on but not producing any pressure? If so have you tried taking it apart to see if it's clogged in some way? Do you run a filter before the pump so you aren't running dirty water through it? If not it may be clogged.

I don't have a filter in front of it no. I might put it in between my first stage and my carbon block when I replace it. I did take it apart but it's not like normal wheel pumps and I didn't see anything wrong. Donnie told me he might have something in stock that would work so I might swing out there this morning.

Those are usually diaphragm pumps. Does it have any pin holes or tears anywhere on the membrane? You might be able to replace the diaphragm (or maybe put some silicone over the hole if there is one)
I haven't taken one apart yet but maybe you have a seized (or partially blocked) valve that you can free with a small screw driver or something?

Ok well I found a place local that sells RODI equipment and fittings and got a new pump. Installed it after my sediment filter and still not getting any pressure beyond 30PSI.

I took every hose out up to the y that splits the pressure and I've got good flow. I have no idea what the problem is, other than I just changed all the filters....

Or you on a well? Just wondering why your pressure is so low. the unit will not limp along buy itself for a few days with no pump?

Huge DOH.

Just got off the phone with Russ over at Buckeye, he helped me figure out what was wrong. When I moved my RODI I had to install a longer drain line - and yes I'd left the flow restrictor in the old line.

So anyone need an RODI booster pump let me know (I have an extra LOL). I'm pushing 80PSI now through my unit.
