My sister wants me to set her up her Jebo Odyssea B9 nano for a seahorse tank. Do I need a skimmer for this tank or can I use the filter that comes with it? Does anyone know of a skimmer to use with this style tank if I use one? I know im going to have more questions as time goes on, I have a 75 gal SW Reef but this is my first Nano.

Thanks for any help.
Ash :) :)

Think this was posted in the wrong forum.

The filtration for the B9 is not the best design..., but you can put ChemiPure. I do not use a skimmer in my nano and ChemiPure works well. Since it's a nano tank, I opted to do regular water changes over skimming.

That tank is too small to keep seahorses except for dwarves and capensis. I'd check out www.seahorse.org There are excellent reefers on this site and a few seahorse keepers (who are knowlegable), but that forum is dedicated to seahorse care.
