Reefkeeping Magazine wants to feature your club in a future Club Showcase article. Some other clubs here in Texas have been featured, and we don't want your club to be left out.

We suggest you assign someone to do the write up, or do it as a group effort if you prefer. Include some cool images, and we'll take care of the rest.

Well I have been a guest at this site (marsh) for almost a year now. I have had great success with my coral reef. I thank all of you for their patients and understanding. You were able to get me away from my 2 ..2 year old t10's and get pricy 4 t5 ho's.. (will get my replacement bulbs in mich. next time.. much cheeper). I still have no sump only using 3 big overhang filters with one connected to an undergravel. I have purchased copods for my manderen (will get some more next store that sells them/has them in stock) .. If the tank was more mature I think it could be a t.o.m. possibly but that is not a goal. The goal is to have an awesome coral reef. The stinkers like it, and can make the first kiss come about a lot easier lol. second last stinker said I should take everything out and clean it once a month ya right. I was reading a t.o.t.m. and it mentioned marsh so I decided to check out your site. .. thanks

I would have sworn I posted in this thread. If a couple of the old-timers will commit to some words together about the history of the club, I can put it together. Cynthia, keep me posted and I'll help Marc on the RC side.

The deadline is May 10th.

The details are pretty much in the first post. Once you have it ready, you can email it to me. Including pictures from past events is always good, as it makes the article more visually appealing.

MARSH Members - post the stuff you don't want omitted. That way the people doing the writing won't forget to include it.

If you have some pictures, forward them to the writing people so they can attach them. I need JPGs, no larger than 800 x 600, and I prefer if they are not embedded in the .doc file. Just type "Pic 1 goes here", for example.

Well, we are planning, the good the bad but not anything ugly. We did have a great BBQ, Frag Swap and membership drive, this last weekend. Luckily we beat the torrential rain.....
Deadline May 10th right???

Yes, but I refuse to go away until I have this article in my fat little fist.

Include stuff like MACNA, the salt study, the coral ID workshop, your club's involvement in the collection trips, dealing with the hurricane and how your club helped one another, how you lost Kim, etc.
