This one is out of stock:

I've seen this one listed for a couple months. Of all the outrageously priced corals I've seen, this one is my favorite, but good lord, it costs about as much as my first car when it was brand new. Of course, maybe that's just a reflection of how old I am.

for some people that is just lunch money.. for others its 6 months salary. how you feel about dropping 5-8k on a coral probably lets you know what category you fall into tho.

I think they put that up there just to grab your attention, I think it would be hard to find someone who has actually paid that much for such a small coral. Having priced so high might make some think they must have high quality stuff. Plus every time someone shares that link it pushes their seo that much further.

There is something extra-strange about this site - every time I have looked, every coral he has is "out of stock". I think maybe he only operates under occasional live sales or something. He also sells a list of his water parameters and equipment for $225.

Lol, you could be born in 2020, and it's still outrageously priced.

The category you looking for is filed under tax code Section 2.918, Subsection A, under I HATE MY MONEY.

the thing is that, as i understand it, there are serious colecteros out there (especially in Asia) that have zero problems spending whatever just for bragging rights.

Correct. The value of money is not absolute, it’s relative to how much you have. The more you have, the less valuable it is, and vice versus.

If I gave you $100,000,000 then it would change your life. If I gave that to Jeff Bezos, it would have absolutely zero effect/value for him.

Then again, a stupid purchase is a stupid purchase regardless of pocket depth.

Can we at least agree that an OG Bounce is worth the money? Bought these two for $150 each when they were booger size :). They still haven't split, and I hope they never do. Goal is to grow them out and pass them on to my son when he gets older. Coral heirloom???? Lol
