For a minute I thought I was seeing things. For the last couple of days I had seen this little guy in different places all over the tank. And i'm like what the heck. I know it was over on this side. Well I have a pair of clowns in this tank and I know they can be butt heads and move stuff around. So I figured either one of them was not particularly happy about the flowerpot and kept moving it out of their way. One, two, 3 days passed and im like no way , they could not have moved it around all those corals. Till I caught a glimpse of it moving while I was changing water. Found the culprit behind the magic tricks. A type of crab has made its home under the skeleton of neon green flowerpot. Not sure what type , will try to snap a pic, but finally the mystery is solved. Pretty funny after I saw this. Flowerpot moving around the tank was a definite first, I knew I wasn't going crazy. Put a smile to my day, and thought , this little crab found a little ingenious way to camouflage in the reef while it searched for food.

No. Theres like a hole in bottom and he sorta straps on the goni. This little sucker is strong to carry the entire piece all over the tank. Hilarious if you ask me. At first I kept manually putting it somewhere in front and abracadabra he'd be 2 feet to one side and back another.

That is hilarious! Amazing he would choose something so large in comparison to himself to lug around. He is a manly crab! lol

Is it a decorator crab? I've heard that they do things like this but never have seen one in action.
