How long to PC lights last? (1 Viewer)

I noticed in my nano, the lights don't look as great after 3-4 mos. I've had my lights going for at least 10 mos thus far.
Tank if fine.


How long do they last? They are only 24w.

6-8 months is about the life of a PC light.
After 8 months for sure you can visible see the spectrum deterioration.

That is why they are not very well favored. Changing the bulbs out at the right intervals is going to cost you $$$$$$$.

Just FYI. Most of the MH bulbs loose about 50% lumin output within first year of use. And they arent much cheaper....
