I'm probably going Saturday, but I'm more interested in ghost shrimp so I'll probably not stay very late.

I went this past saturday, but to the dike, wasn't sure about galveston yet, I got some fish and some hermits. I am planning to go to galveston this weekend coming up.

how can you tell the differnce between gost shrimp and the regualr gulfcoast baby shrimps???

I went last night and am about to go again, I didnt see any shrimp, but we also didnt have nets lol, we used the hand grab technique.... There were snails, crabs, a TON of anenomes and I caught a blennie. We are going to try for shrimp again tonight

ok after 2 hours of collecting we caught a good amount of pods, some sargassum shrimp, a porceline crabe, and maybe a lesser peppermint shrimp?? its kinda fadded color I cant tell yet... not really that good collecting at all lol

we collecting at 2 different groins, one in front of rainforest and the one to the east of it. I think it was just a little cold, the fisherman there said they saw a bunch of shrimp last week. The peppermint i caught though is starting to color up nicely.
