Has anyone ever fragged a red goniopora before? Mine has grown past "softball" size and is approaching "volleyball" status. It's stinging some really nice corals nearby - I've procrastinated enough, I need to frag it. Any ideas? This is one that I grew from a frag that I got from Kat three years ago.

I frag my 8yr ORA Goni from the bottom. Occasionally it spits out baby Goni(s) Lol. Sorry for the bad pics. I place in a lid with substrate then I glue them to a plug once they grow a bit. They grow very fast.

So I took the goni in a bucket to OceanLife last weekend and they kindly sawed it into a nice variety of pieces. Thanks Raccoh!

I now have a dozen frags, all of which are bigger than the normal ones from ORA. I will post in the coral sale section, but here is a cool video so you can get an idea of what a fragged goni looks like:

Also, I had never noticed any "baby Goni" buds like Raccoh mentions above, but I found one when we were fragging it. It's like a small quail egg with polyps all the way around the sphere. I put it in my frag tank and it had some decent polyp extension for something so small - see the very bad video: https://goo.gl/photos/BGYMALTE7zJtxBky6
