i need to know how to frag mushrooms and polyps so that they double in number of buds. basically i want to make the colony grow.

i heard people said you just need to cut the single shroom off by half and try to cut thru the mouth.. some on reefcentral even said he put his mushrooms in to a blender and throw the mix (cocktail 
) to the tank and they spread everywhere 8O
for the polyps just frag the colony to smaller frags and attach to several pieces of rocks and place them at location w/ good flow and lighting.. they will cover those rocks pretty fast..
