Does anyone have a hydraulic lift to lift up large empty aquariums in the Katy area? I've tried with a few friends to put it on the stand, but it's too heavy. The dimensions are 7x2x2; 220 gallons.

Is it 3/4" glass? Me and one buddy lifted up a 215-gallon on to the stand and I'm only 130 lbs. It was only 5/8" glass though so much lighter than if it was 3/4" glass. My last 215-gallon was 3/4" glass and it was about 600 lbs dry!

I have not measured the thickness. It's easily 400-500lbs with the glass bracing. I think it could be done with four people. It's just a drive out to Katy + everybody's busy schedule the last few weeks.

Oh yeah, sounds like its 3/4" glass. Took 4 strong guys to lift my old tank with that thick of glass. Hopefully someone has a lift.

David @ Urban Aquatics moved my tank with a lift-it was just him and I. I was nervous but he got it done easily.

David moved by himself a 400 gallon tank fill of water al by himself.
A empty 210 gallon is easily done by 4 guys.
