I need some setup help (1 Viewer)

I need some advice on how to set this up in my cabinet...
Option 1 - sump perpendicular to the front doors but pushed up against the side door. The skimmer and socks can be accessed with the front or side door, the pump with the side door. Longer plumbing.
Option 2 - sump parallel with the front doors but pushed towards the back. The skimmer and socks can be accessed with the side door, the pump through the front door. Shorter plumbing.
What would you do for easier maintenance? This is my first attempt at plumbing a tank.

I would decide on option that makes it most accessible to clean and get to your equipment if something needs replaced or cleaned.

I'd go with option 1 since the socks are easiest to access from there.

I like option 1. Ease of access to skimmer and socks would be my priority. Another thing I would look at is my skimmers location relative to my power bar...skimmers can go bonkers in the middle of the night and if it starts spewing out of the top I would want it as far from my power source as possible.
