I currently have the trigger ruby 20 but I want it to be 9” wider. I also don't want to wait for it either.

Whatever you do…don’t order from Advanced Acrylics are you will wait months!

If I ordered a sump, I’d probably go back with synergy reefs. They make good sumps and could customize anything. I’d call in advance and ask how long it would be, but I’m sure it will be at least 4-6 weeks on a custom order. The time they told me is when mine was delivered.

Does anyone make custom sumps taller than 15 inches? I like my sump but when the power goes out the water level is about 1/2" from overflowing! Or maybe it is just my problem because I have such a large refugium and rock tub...

Not to mention all check valves leak slowly over time and I’ve tried them all. They start clapping too after a while even when cleaned. I finally quit using them all together. Although it was nice to kill the return pump and the water in the sump stay about the same.

So I have a 650 Peninsula, and I am starting with my standard open glass sump that came with it, but I kind of want to put in the new Reef Mat in it and have look aestetically nice and preferably just have everything closed...that way I can keep refugium lights on that chamber on 24/7 and have the mat in it there too....kind of browsing on market ones or even custom made ones...any advice...I do like the Red Sea reefmat btw...waiting for them to become available but with that the current sump I need to cut out the sock holders (I don't care their vids...I am highly allergic to cutting into silicone particularly in sumps....so figured get me a new one...

nice setup... i ended up going with the banshe sump, im hoping it will be large enough to hold the reef mat.

are you going for the 500 or the 1200? and once you do can you let me know if it fits? i was planning on going to Fj today to get one (I think he got them but maybe I should hold off a bit before others have test fitted it)
