What had works for me is soak their food in Kent garlic xtreme. Keeping feed them until it goes away.

I am also a big big believer in garlic, basically the fish get healthier and the ick just dies off

When I see ick on a fish I leave it alone. I think we stress the fish more by removing it from the tank and try to treat it. My only solution is to keep a cleaner shrimp in the tank.

I added garlic to the food, 2 cleaner shimp, a cleaner wrasse, used ich attack (reef safe), and fed heavy and it went away after about 2 weeks of this. My corals were not affected my the ich attack as far as I could tell.
