Can anyone help me out here?

This has started to grow in between these zoos. Does anyone know what kinda algae it is & what might eat it?

Thanks

It looks like wafer algae. Kill it before it gets out of control. It's bad news. Possible grazers would include urchins, but unfortunately nothing really seems to eat this stuff with gusto.

Thanks for the replys, I am using Oceanic Salt. I have had this stuff growing for a few months now. It came in on a clam. Sounds like some urchins are on the way. Any specific one I should look at? Pretty slow growing stuff.

just use some tweezers and pull it out while it's small. urchins are eating machines, problem is that they eat everything.

oceanic

I think the oceanic salt is your problem, When I started to use it I had that same algae in my tank. I think that algae grows when there is silicates in the water and there are a lot of people saying there is problems with that salt on reef central. Try using a differant salt to see if it goes away. If that algae sets in you cannot get it out it will grow like crazy.
