Was finishing off transferring all the remaining fish I wanted in the new tank. Admiring how everything looked was really happy.
Wife says dinner is ready so I go in and eat. I come out and there is water on the floor and it was a worse case scenario. The seem
split on the bottom and its leaking really good. Oh crap good thing I had all these half empty aquariums already so I have gotten
everything moved to other tanks. Alls that's left is about 3 inches of water the sand and one wrasse I haven't located yet. Good new is Cody s
patch is holding great. Still going to be a long night.

Man that sucks. I’ve experienced a pane failure on a 55 and it wasn’t fun. How big was the tank, brand new? and brand if you don’t mind me asking?

Looking to get the same tank only shorter, 24" with starfire front. the rest of the equipment is good so will stay with the footprint.
Only a couple pf inches of water will be attempting to start dismantling the existing tank tonight.

Sucks man. Had that happen a couple years ago on a 125g tank that was running for 2 years. Wife & I came home from a sweet fishing trip late at night and immediately wondered why there was water coming out between the weep holes between our bricks. Complete seal failure at the bottom of the tank, most of the coral ended up dying but somehow saved the lawnmower, clown & one sexy shrimp we found flopping around in the sand.

trying to find an 8 ft tank 28 inches wide might be a problem. Thinking I will try and disassemble it tomorrow in hopes there is
a possibility in getting it rebuilt only 24 inches tall.

@reeftopia

Try reaching out to Chris Buys at elegantaquatics.com. He is on Facebook. He does tank rebuilds I believe.
