That's the big shocker... but thats what covid does...exposes your weakness.

Funny Pfizer comes put with news theyre going to raise the cost of Covid vaccine from $1.18 to over $100. There's also rumors past couple days that a new corona virus was developed/deployed with 80% efficiency death rate. Ouch :devilish: All seems fishy to me... ( no pun intended and not to make humor in this thread) just putting out what I've heard).
Yep, heard Boston University was conducting “Gain of Function” research w/o letting anybody know or even asking the general public or Congress if it’s a good idea. SMH…

COVID.... seriously my BP has been whack... 170/110- 92/62 in one day ... been fighting high BP for couple months now. Went to see a specialist and he said everything checks out pretty normal, ekg, stress test, echo... he says its all covid and we will learn more as time passes by. My BP in his office was 117/76 manual only. He does not use electric devices, he has a big staff and all are trained manually. He is one of the leading cardiologist in Houston.
Not saying it's the case for you, but I wanted to put out a PSA that I've been thinking a lot about lately considering that Millennials are dying earlier than they should these days from alcohol and drug abuse.

There was a huge alcohol and drug uptick with the virus, and I think that's a factor as well.

Also, to the men out there, there's nothing weak about sharing your emotions with your male friends, specifically when you're struggling. Iron sharpens iron, and a good friend will recognize that and make you stronger to get to where you want to be. Time to man up and check in on your buddies! Make sure they're doing ok because you love them, whether you would admit it or not!

True that Cody. I had a super bad case of Covid back in July 2020. Nearly died. For sure thought I was taking my last breath a few times. Since then, things haven’t been perfect, but I’ve recovered fairly well thank God. I had existing lung issues though. I’m sure it didn’t help.

Not to get to far off topic and take away from Jake’s death, but that whole Boston research really makes your blood boil. I can’t believe that these people were so bold to do this kind of research without asking anybody really.

Read below how crazy this is. If this doesn’t make your skin crawl after the 2+ years of torture we all went through, then I don’t know what will. The audacity of these people is unbelievable. I hope they hold them all accountable for this.

Last March I took my blood pressure and the top was 190. I thought I should go to emerg just down the street. They gave me something to get it down. Few hours later it was just below 160 and they said I could go home. It wasn't covid it was kfc.

To me, he was the Anthony Bourdain of the reefing world. He had an ability to make you want to explore and learn new things about this hobby. I will miss him dearly :-(

Truly hard to believe. When you loose a reefer so devoted it’s a hard pill to swallow. Very similar to when Steve Irwin died. That guy had such a good attitude and loved what he did just like Jake. Nobody has really filled his shoes since.
