I don't think that Ecotech will be lowering their prices any time soon. LOL! They are still a superior product. I'd pay the extra difference just for their customer support! However, if more companies keep doing this then yes... yes they will. Not by much though.

I just wanted to let you all know that if you get this:

You can slow these pumps down. So, if you have a 3' tank, you can run one. It'll look funny though. LOL!

On a standard 120g if you run the adapter on full bore (24V) you will toss water out of your tank.

Here's my buddy's 57g (Percy - lilbuddha on R2R) rimless with one running. He's using the Universal AC Adapter... probably on the lowest setting in the video.

He claims he's in W1 mode @ 16V. Everything's moving in his tank, and he has it mounted pretty low.

How can you not get excited about this cheap solution? LOL
