You guys are killing me. I've been wanting a jeep for a few years now. I've almost pulled the trigger twice, but can't seem to do it. This would be just a toy, a weekend/cool day kinda thing. I know some of y'all are in my position. What made YOU pull the trigger?

Great pics btw.

Thanks man! You can check it out when we go on the 4x4 run. :D or maybe I'll drive it out to your shop again and hang out a bit.

My wife has wanted a jeep ever since she was 16. She has talked about them for the entire 23 years we have been married. After some of my friends got me looking at them a few months back they really grew on me. I finally decided to surprise the wife and bought her this for her birthday. She drives it every day now to work. She can't get enough of it. :D

Idk if anyone said but try Houston Jeep People (HJP) on meetup.com (think that's the site). I used to be a HUGE Jeeper and they were my 2nd family.

The president of the Houston jeep club lives in my neighborhood and they always are putting on new and ridiculous gear for their jeeps. Not exactly sure which club it is though but they roll 20+ deep sometime, parked everywhere. It's over here on nw side near1960&249 (willowbrook). Looks like another expensive hobby to me, got enough as is..

I haven't found a hobby that isn't expensive. The reef tank is probably my cheapest hobby. Ha ha.

That's no joke. I had 12K just in the motor alone in my old Camaro. I was in the racing scene for close to 15 years. We'd have 50+ Camaros and Trans Ams back in the day all bumper to bumper cruising down to Galveston. I have old pictures of my entire front yard, driveway and street covered in F-Bodies. :D So much fun back then.

I think the best we have done is around 25 vipers for a cruise. Talk about turning heads. To bad that I am to busy to even really enjoy the car anymore. Glad Reefing doesn't take up as much time and money.

Saw some on ebay and found really affordable Jeeps. Are they specifically made for off road ? Would like to get one later if they can provide a comfortable ride for daily commute.

How well would a jeep work for picking up the ladies? Thinking about getting the Jeep SRT8.
