How long does it take for your take to completly cycle or do you have a faster method for cycling a tank. My tank right now has been cycling for two weeks and a few days. The amonina is 0ppm , nitrite about 5ppm , nitrate 10ppm , and ph 8.62. I have sand and live rock in the tank and a 30 gallon fuge on the side w/ 20lbs. of live rock , about 25lbs. of live sand and some grape caulpera.

Thanks.

it sounds like its getting there... in the next couple days you will probably see the nitrites drop to zero and then the nitrates.

it took me less than 1 week to cycle a 75 gallon tall. All I did is add the bacteria packet i bought from minh and brandon at bay area aquarium.

that bacteria was prodibio, and that stuff is amazing. it's great for tank start up or simply reducing the nutrients in an existing system. i use prodibio bioptim and biodigest regularly.
