I had one like that in my tank for a while. Saw it only once every couple of days. Watched it grow for about six months and started getting worried about it catching a fish. Got lucky one night and caught it easily. Had it in the return section of my sump for about six months before it kicked the bucket. Maybe I didn't feed it enough?
