Some may remember we started a pico reef a while back. It was doing well, but I decided to get the magnetic black sand out so I removed everything and started over.

While the tank was empty my daughter took it into her room and decided it was hers. When it was time to set it up again Kyle said we should put it in her room. ♡

So now everyone has their own reef, except my husband. Lol. I temporarily placed our lone Wyoming White in there yesterday. Our original pair never paired and the aggression kept getting worse. I split them up and was able to pair the bigger female with a new male. This left me with a loner. Lol. His home will eventually be in the refugium of the big tank.

Anyway I heard her over the baby monitor last night. She said, "I love you Pish, my pish, love you so mush." My daughter rarely talks without a lot of prompting so it was pretty surprising.

I guess I now have Kaitlyn's Reef too. Lol

That is awesome. Gotta love it when the kids enjoy it. Wish I could convince my wife to let me move a tank into our son's room. My son was throwing a temper tantrum last night yelling "Meemo! Blue light meemo!" over and over again. I finally opened his bedroom door so that he could see Meemo (his version of Nemo) under the moonlights from his crib. Within seconds he laid down and starting humming to himself while watching the tank between the slats of the crib. He also gets quite upset when the main lights turn off while we're eating dinner and starts pointing and telling me "Light out. Pish need light. Light out." Which brings me to a question, why is it that kids always seem to replace the F in fish with a P? It's cute, but why?

Cute!!!!! Kaitlyn's speech therapist told me one of the hardest sounds for kids to say is the "f" sound. I guess "p" is the most logical replacement. Either that or our kids are freaking geniuses. I am leaning towards it being a sign of genious. ;)
