ok, so im looking into getting a kalk reactor from nick's reef but have a question...


i read that the curculation pump is ran for 3min 6 times a day, assuming to stir up the kalk...but how is it fed into the tank? do you run your topoff container with 1/4" O.D tubing, through the reactor into your tank?? any suggestions for someone that doesnt have a top-off container?

im confuzed can someone please explain to me how it works...

I run my pump once a day for 10 minutes. You will need a top off continer.

A kalk reactor is actually a stirrer. You mix it to saturate the water with the kalk. Whn you top off through the stirrer you are puching out the saturated water.
