I mixed some up in a 5 gallon container and let it sit over night as directions stated. The LFS told me to shake the bottle eash time I replace my evaporative RO/DI water. THis procedure make my tank so cloudy. Suggestions please.

no,
dont shake it. it should form a shell on top of water, precipitate on bottom (white murky stuff). you want the water from the middle.

i put in my top off, then let the shell form after a day, then to go's to fuge.

been dosing RF holmes 2 part, so been using less kalk recently.

kalk

I have used Kalk for years. Shake it when you first mix and let it set for several hours. Don't shake it any more. In my opinion, the easiest way to dose kalk in the long run is to use a Nielson reactor. I built one about 4 years ago for $40 and love it. As far as Ms. Wages goes, I stock pile that stuff during canning season.
