Hello, I've had 2 A350w's on my 90g mixed reef for about a year and a half and had little to no growth and am stumped. Water parameters and flow have are great (alk. gets a little low sometimes 1100 ish). I'm using a spectrapure 4 stage rodi (0 tds), BRS carbon and GFO, Reef Octopus nwb150, do monthly 20% water changes, temp is constant, and water movement is created by 2 rw-8's in W1 mode.

My thought is if my water quality and movement is adequate it must be the lighting? I have tried my Kessils at 40% power up to 80% (gradually increasing or decreasing slowly over weeks) and usually keep the ratio balanced. What power settings have you had success with? I'm by Katy proper if anyone wants to check it out.

Here is a list of my easier to keep corals and whats up:
-xenia-slow to no growth GSP-no growth and very little green coloration
--birdsnest/Bali-good growth-tips started to bleach one day-next day entire colonies were gone? Chem warfare in the tank?
-random leathers-little growth but nothing has died
-torch coral-loosing its color but hasn't died
-large toadstool leather- had it for a month and a half and still no polyps and is shrinking-each week I try a different flow/light area
-zoas/polys-good growth-
-long tip anemone-died in a week
-green bubble tip-moving all around but fine
-coralline growth-none
-candy cane-no deaths but no growth
-all the fishies are doing fine

Tagging along on this one. I've had no luck getting someone to provide settings for my Kessil A360WE's and controller. I have two over my 90. I can tell you that my corals are growing but I have nothing to compare the growth to. I will say the birdsnest are growing like crazy. My rainbow monti is encrusting nicely. Several new heads on my duncan. Bubble tip just split. Zoa's are spreading. My digi is encrusting on to the rocks. The neon green toadstools is growing slowly. Outside of the birdsnest I would not say anything is growing like crazy but more slow and steady.

Hi Miller, I've had my lights at 75% and bumped them up to 100% last night for a couple reasons. I can notice a big difference in visible output from 20% to 50%. I can't see much of a visible difference between 50% and 75% and even less from 75%-100%. I accidentally left my front blinds open and direct sunlight was hitting my toadstool and it finally inflated back to it's original size but didn't have any polyp extensions. I've spent some time on reef central and quite a few people are running these at 100%. Supposedly at 100% the par reading is close to a good quality 250MH. What are your settings?

Maybe I will bump the intensity up to 100% sooner. Below are my current settings:

8AM 0 color- 10 intensity
9AM 30/40
11AM 60/90
12PM 80/100
11:59PM 5/5

There is no rhyme or reason to my settings. Are you running everything at 100 percent color and intensity?

I run mine 100/100 for 7 hours and the rest is just dawn/dusk. Started with my first sps frags about 1 1/2 month now. I'm happy with the color and growth.

Did you get the controller? If so what are your specific settings by interval?

BTW, the tank is looking nice. How long have you had the clam? Don't remember it when I was there.

Had my gold teardrops for about 6 months now and the crocea for about 3 months. I'm using apex to control mine. Pm me your email and I'll give you my settings.

I use a single A350 over my 34G solana. I keep it at 100/100 for 7-8 hrs depending on the season. I'm in the process of building a 230G and plan to use the A360W's with it, but haven't set it up yet.
