I had a big one in the middle of my torch colony and I put a couple rubble rocks in there on top of him and in a few days, he climbed on to one of the rocks to get more light. I just pulled the rock and tossed it. Every time I try the kalk mixes (F-aptasia or whatever), it seems I end up with more.
