I have a 240 one in my 6g nano. Depending on what you LR structure will be and if you have additional water flow sources will help you determine what will work best. Also depends on what you plan to keep. I prefer a stronger flow in my tank b/c I have gorgs in it. Hope this helps

Is there gping to be any additional filter on this tank, If so, I think the 240 would be fine to help get rid of any dead space around you LR set up. I like something with a little surface agitation and some movement between rocks.

Return it and get the 420. The 240 version is very weak. I have both version in my cadlight 12g. Now I just upgrade to a MP10 to replace both.
