Let the hater talk begin. It was a last minute idea since we leave for the keys in the morning. I know all all of what’s wrong with it but it’s all I could come with last minute. There are some advantages here I think I’m going to build a power wall for such occasions.

Sorry the photo didn’t come out the first time. It’s a ups I got from the office that had a bad battery I tied it into a 4D lead acid truck battery.

yeah not really sure how long I’ve had some of my guys leave the ignition on on some my equipment for a week and still get a start up 13V

A little late, but some UPS's do not have enough cooling for a larger battery. They will just have a chunk of metal on parts that need cooling that is meant to suck up enough heat that it does not burn out before the battery gets drained. Cyberpower is a decent brand so it should not be a fire hazard, but you may not get the run time you expect out of it.

Yeah most definitely need to look closer at the limitations of the equipment. I figure only about 250Watts load so it should be good to just push the return pump and the power heads for quite a bit of time. Either way, got by this time luckily since it didn't hit us. Most assuredly will be working on power outage backup this winter.
