Any advice or sujestions on a good lid company or builder? And are there any changes or modifications you would have or have made to you tank top that is a must have now? Thanks for your time and advice.

Ordered mine from ClearView Lids and it took around 3 weeks to ship. Have had it for about 10 months now with 0 complaints and has been one of the best things i've gotten for my tank.

Check out Kraken Reef. They make some quality lids for good prices, plus they are a Veteran owned company. I ordered mine with a feed lid and realized I could have gone without it.

I have a Clearview Tsunami on my 300XL and a Kraken Reef on my Evo 13.5. The annoying thing about the Tsunami is the modular design. At the time I bought it I thought “hmm if I want to reconfigure I don’t have to buy another lid.” The idea is nice, but in reality the places where the lid pieces go together are salt creep magnets and it ends up needing to be sprayed off frequently. Get a solid one would be my advice. The Kraken Reef one is the second I bought. Since it’s in our office we were worried about cats getting into it. So we got the filler cover to completely cover the tank when we’re not there. I got the UV reactive feeding cup and cover. It looks really good.

Lidyourreef.com was based in Houston but just looked them up and their website and FB pages aren't working.

Anyone know what happened with them?

We got an awesome lid for a tideline 20g AIO from Nemo and friends. Solid piece of acrylic with a hex pattern cut into it, black boarder to sit on tank edge, and a feeding door. They said they could get other sizes made but not sure what their max size would be if its a larger tank.

Agreed.. his process was totally different then everyone else. Glad I was able to get Jesse to make me a couple. Was definetly worth the wait. No other lid compares but the option is not avaliable anymore since he had to shut down. Do not use acrylic. It will warp.
