So this tank has presented some difficulties when looking into adequate lighting. I'm not a 100% sure of everything I will keeping in the tank but know that I want to keep my options open. It will definitly be a reef tank, just don't know about corals.
How does 250W MH 10K w/ 2 65W CF Actinic sound? The lights will be approx. 24 inches from the bottom of the tank. The fixture will hang from the ceiling. My concern w/ doing a DIY is that the canopy is plastic and I'd have to replace / build that in order to accomodate anything.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
