How do you know when its time to replace VHO bulbs?? Is there a way to tell or just by keeping a log of how long you've had them and how long they run each day?

Since my lights run about the same about of time everyday, I keep a log when I replace my bulbs. I try to replace my VHO about once every 12 months.

If it is on a Ice Cap ballast you can go 18 Months. When you buy new bulbs use a magic marker and write the date on the bulb itself that way you'll never forget.
