I've got about 125lbs of Fiji in my 72gal tank and love the way it looks. I didn't really like the "dead stoney coral" look. I think alot of people go with a mix of all different kinds. That's probably the best way to go.

I think Marshall Island is generally considered to be a little better for filtration, because it is less dense and more porous. For most people, it comes down to asthetics, i.e. what looks best in your tank. Usually a mix of different types works well. For instance, I have some Tonga branch rock which is useful for creating "headers" to support other rocks over cave openings. I also have some Haitian rock that is very flat, which makes it easy to stack and provides some nice flat areas to set corals on. The rest is Fiji rock which is stacked on the structure created from the other rock types.

Of course, according to Dr. Ron, all this liverock is useless, so I've been thinking about ditching it anyway.
