Has anyone ever ordered from livestockusa.org? I've got my order in with Quarantinedfish (along with a couple others here) but I still want quite a few more fish. I've seen this website for years, where you can order fish direct from the source, but the shipping is crazy expensive... basically $500 per box of 20-30 med sized fish.

I understand the risk; there's bound to be some that don't make it, they are coming direct from the source so who knows about pests & disease, but if you consider a per price cost of the fish it's worth the risk.

Thoughts?

So I've been talking with Mitch from Livestockusa and my first list of fish was going to be almost 2 boxes, lol. I was over buying based on some die off expected. Gotta rethink how many fish I want. I only want to fill 1 box. @Fromtheorange what were you looking to get or how many fish?

Most likely wrasse and some other small fish. I really need hermit crabs, shrimp, and snails

I was going to buy some snails and crabs, they are like .60 or 1.00, but they take up valuable bag space. PM me your email & I'll send you the fish list I was looking at that is updated as of yesterday. I will probably wait a couple of weeks. I want to buy juv fish, not adults as the adults take more water, thus more space. This is the info I got from mitch.
