My new tank is up and running and I am looking for a good fish store up in the the 290 and Barker Cypress area. Some place that is reasonably close, has good stock and prices.

Village Tropical and City Pets are my favorites. Aquarium World is very neat, but prices are high and corals aren't so hot. I'm not a big fan of Aquatic World on Jones. Prices are fine, but customer service is terrible.
Forgot my wife was signed in. This comment was made by KarenHorn, not KarenB

before i moved we only had 1 decent shop in green bay and i became friends with all of the people that worked there and when i would say "i decided what i want" they would hand me a bag and a net :-(

When I lived in Metairie, LA (Just out side of NO) I used to go to a store like that. I would not even ask for help after a while I would just bag the critters myself. If the store was really busy they would put me to work. Except in this case it was not due to poor customer service. My wife was friends with the owners wife and they just let me do my thing.
