magnesium is low (1 Viewer)

Tested my magnesium last night and it was at 1000. I know that it need to be between 1250 and 1350. How much can I safely raise the magnesium level in the tank per day to get it were it needs to be? Thank You.

What type of Magnesium are you using, and does it have any specific instructions? I use Seachem Reef Advantage and it states no more than 25 mg/l per day, which is a double dose. Yours could be different. Do you trust your test kit or ist old?

I'm using Kent Tech-M and the test kit is brand new.

Did you check your Calcium level and your DKH? Are you running a calcium reactor?
