I'm wanting to grow my own mangroves and would like some input from someone who has or is currently growing them out. I understand the sump growth aspect but I'm talking a tank dedicated to saltwater mangroves. Things I'm curious about

Flow- how much
Filtration- can I use a hang on the back filter, is a filter even needed
Lighting- how much is proper, does it mainly have to hit the roots or the whole plant
Feeding- I know the ones in my sump thrive off my tank, do these in there own tank need anything special
Live rock- I want to have a few small pieces to hold the mangroves upright but leaving roots exposed, thoughts?
Macro- also thinking of having a few of these guys in there, what types are the easiest and do well with the mangroves
Trimming- can I cut any portion of the mangrove that I can grow into another mangrove
Inhabitants - what fish or inverts do well in this environment

All input welcome
Tank size yet to be picked but it will be small between 10-40g but 40 is pushing it .
