Mantis Shrimp Spearer (1 Viewer)

This was with the live shrimp we bought yesterday for fishing. It is a spearer mantis with yellow eyes and some yellow on the tail. Overall it is whitish/clear. It is about 2" long.

Not sure how long it will last with the Peacock in the same tank, though it has been all night and it is still alive.

I've got the most docile Peacock in history in that tank. Sheesh, what a sissy mantis.

Squilla empusa pretty common mantis in our area. His cousin the Giant mantis from further offshore reaches lengths of 9 inches.

I was fishing in Port A and a guy caught a foot and a half lond mantis on live shrimp. It looked the same as the one you have.
