I say we have a poll with 3-5 places to choose where dinner comes from this year.

I second this, also what are some things we can help with?

I think it'd be nice to change it up from the Mongolian food as of lately. Fred I commend your service to marsh. You are always trying g to help out, volunteer for events. Might end up getting you a marine Christmas gift. I like your positive posts and helpfulness. Although you may have to remind me for the gift. That last 4th serious sport bike wreck did a number on my memory. :ride:

Thanks man. I just try to help when I can, I also see other groups and how active their members are so that motivates me as well. I would really like to see us double in size and become a lot more active but I know that everyone has lives.

Plus I'm only 23 and not married so that plays a part as well. Lol

Well that is all well and fine, however if a suggestion is made then be prepared to do the leg work to follow through with the work required. You can email directors@marsh-reef.org for the head count Nov 28th (or view it in the event calendar). I am away on a project in Ga the weeks prior to this event so if someone wants to take on the task of working with a caterer (from start to finish-including meeting with the caterer right up to the end where they are paid and packing up following the event) I don't have any problems with these suggestions.

Im not prepared nor do I have the time to do the catering. Someone WILL have to do it though. I was just suggesting to have a poll this year on what food to eat. I know at past CHRISTmas parties, this was one of the only complaints. I know we can't satisfy everyone but the majority would be good. Maybe we should get this started asap

i dont nor have i attempted to start a "poll" quesstionaire, but lets do that with a time limit of say this coming black friday. then we can go from there. i dont mind helping with contacting a caterer. i know of someone who makes a variety of foods. they bring all the food and set-it up. then they provide nice plate and silver wear. then to top it off, their grand mother makes all the chocolate chip cookies. mmmmmm. just a suggestion of an outfit we use at work all the time. i havent had anything i didnt like.

We will be there this year. We went a few years back when it was at the old fish gallery and the catering was from Fahdis (mediterrean food) and it was awesome. Great fun for the whole family - my toddler had a ball.

Cheers
