I'm not able to post anything in the selling forums? Why was my membership removed? I became a member on 6/2/10. At the time there were different rules about the length. I was under the impression that was changed? I paid $30 for a year and only got 9 months.

Unfortunately the way its set up right now is that it runs from 1-1-XX to 12-21-xx of the same year. There was a post a few weeks ago that said memberships had to be updated by the frag swap or you wouldnt be a member any more.

Im not sure how or if the rules changed though. I thought if you signed up in the middle of the year there was some sort of discounted rate to alot for the time you werent a member.

That's what I remember being discussed, changing it to a full year and doing away with the whole December 31st thing.

This had to happen just this time, I needed to post some fish to try and get rid of tomorrow. Hoping to get my 90 taken down. If I renew right now I still won't have member status for a few days.

Well I would recommend posting them in the public for sale forum.

I know it was talked about but nothing has come of it since.

I couldn't til I renewed, non-member can't post anything for sell. Only in want to buy.

Either way, apparently the renewing is in fact automatic through paypal, problem solved for now.

Sorry - Was out of town for the weekend.

Yes - We are still on the annual renewal that is prorated when you renew later in the year.

We are putting a priority on the Web site upgrade this year even if it means paying to have it done so that we can switch to normal system where it is just Member or not Member and it is good for 12 months.

Currently we post reminders in January but generally don't end the previous year until the February BOD elections. This year it carried over a bit into March.

Summary

• Join Jan-June $30.00
• Join July-Sept prorated to $20.00 but terminates at year end
• Join September-December $30.00 but carries over to following year

The dues to join MARSH are $30 per person, per year. Our fiscal year is January 1 through December 31. If you join in January through June, you will pay full dues, and you will receive a membership card, good through December 31 of the current year. If you join July through September, your dues for the year will be just $20, and you will get a membership card good through December 31 of the current year. If you join October through December, your dues will be $30, but you will be paid through December of the following year, and will get a membership card reflecting that.
