Metal Halide pendant question (1 Viewer)

I am about to hang a pendant over my frag tank that is cycling at the moment and am curious as to how high above the water it should be. The tank is a 24 x 24 x 18 cube. The pendant is a lumen max 3, 250watt DE lamp. XM 15K bulb in it for now.

are u using or going to use a chiller?

mine was about 8'' with a chiller

no chiller just a fan being controlled by a RK lite and keeping up with the top off

On my frag tank I have mine about 14" above water. 250w SE 10k, tank 12" tall.
