i have vho's under the mh, pretty much under the bulb socket so its not getting too direct of a hit with the mh, but is it going to affect the vho bulbs??

bulb seems to look crystal blue, but my tank still looks really yellow, with the actinics on

could it be my water needs changing? or do i need to go a 14k

camera does too much justice, looks crappier in person

How many watts are those MH?. Being exposed to that much heat will probably shorten the life span of the VHOs.

I would go with 20K MH and ditch the actinics.

2x250 mh
330 vho

will the 20k still make the tank look clear but make the colors of the corals vibrant?

Absolutely. I am running 2X150 20K Phoenix bulbs and colors are very bright and clear. I also have 4x65 watt PC actinics and I do not even use them because you cannot tell they are on with the MH.

Look at my photo album to see the pics. Those are without any actinics.
