I have always wanted a reef tank with a clown fish hosting an anemone. Started a 120 gallon reef tank with a pair of oscellaris clownfish but they would have nothing to do with a carpet anemone! They hosted the black overflow drain!

I set out to setup an anemone / clownfish tank only with a baby Maroon clownfish and 2 Sherman BTA. After 48 hours, my dream has come true!!!

It is so satisfying and peaceful to see this happy little guy floating and gliding within the anemone.

Thanks Bao(01tran) for the BTA!

Yeah, I had trouble finding the right combo too. My luck changed when I was given a Maroon and Gold Clownfish, which loves my BTA.

I'm gonna have to get rid of my tomato clown cuz ever since he has hosted my rainbow bta he bites me every time I clean the glass with a pad. I know there are different ways to clean it but that works for me the best.

All clownfish can be aggressive enough to bite. I have had an occ. draw blood. Tomatoes are probably the worst though.
