Thanks for the work getting this set up Cat! The additional discounted tickets are a great benefit for everyone. My family has been the last few years and always tack on the IMAX and rainforest area. Beach is ok...
Best part is looking down at the huge aquariums and walking over the large sharks on the open catwalk- very cool. This is something people pay a lot of money for (including me) when at Georgia Aquarium and such places. This tour I found to be more thorough too.

Tektite, I just talked to the wife and she gave me the thumbs up for Saturday. She and I would love to go on the tour and get to meet some of you guys. Just so I'm clear, it would be $9.25 each, right?

Awesome. I think we will have to switch to Sunday though. I forgot that I have a wedding Friday night, I will be up late, and I'll be coming from Montgomery. There's not a chance I'll be up that early the morning after a wedding! Haha

There are still several slots open for this weekend's tour. Usually these are sold out. Anyone looking for something really fun to do on Saturday or Sunday shouldn't think twice. This only happens once a year.

No problem. It is one of the perks of being a MARSH member and we are glad that we had the opportunity to offer the backstage tour to those of you who had an interest. It was a pleasure meeting everyone yesterday and putting faces to the usernames.

I dug it for sure. Poor, finless, fat sea turtle! Moody Gardens ended up being a little stingy with the discounts to the other exhibits though. We ended up just going our separate ways. I ended up at FJW's going home with a new monti cap, though. I figured I would be better served spending a little on a frag than $45 for the rainforest exhibit. I'll wait until they have a special going on to see that part. I've done it before so I can wait.
