I hate to hear this. I love taking the weekend and going to Moody Gardens and seeing all of their wonders.

I have an Idea (scary I know lol):
We are a group of people that can sympathize with Moody’s loss and we all know how expensive it is to restock our tanks… Now think about all of the tanks they had. That would be a HUGE cost to them. I know insurance would cover most of it, but what if we could help by donating some of our fish and/or coral to them. How great would that be to see some of our coral/fish in a setup like Moody’s!!! I know I would make the trip down there more often if I had some “stock” in it. This might be a great way for us as a group to give back to our community and give us a chance to spread the word about MARSH. I bet that Channel 2 would like to air that story. Everyone likes happy endings :)

Thats a good idea, but on the video clip I saw, the man talking said mostly FW fish in the rainforest pyramid. I don't recall hearing about how the aquarium pyramid faired. Anyone have news on what parts of Moody Gardens are open?

it would be cool to have meet up at moody gardens sometime with all of our marsh friends also. I believe the aquarium part is already open.

If we could set up a donation like this maybe they would take the persons that made a donation or all MARSH members on a tour of their setup.

I had the email address of the aquatic manager but I cant find it. I think his name was Ken or something.

The aquarium is open - it is posted on their website
