I am looking to add some moonlight to my 30 gallon, wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions (and if they can be found in any of the Houston area LFS). Currently have 4 T-5 bulbs as the normal lighting.

Somewhat of a newbie to MARSH (and the hobby), but have met some great people already. Thanks in advance for the help.

Look into the Ecoxotic stunner strips. They are some nice LED light strips. I know FJW, City Pets, and Fish Gallery carries them.

I'd look into the single bulb LED moonlights they have hat CP. Tank your size, you might be able to get away with just one. With moonlights, your not looking to "light" up your tank, which I think the stunner strips will do.

I guess it all depends on how bright he wants his moon to be. :D The 12" 445nm Royal Blue puts off nice light but are dark blue also. I'm thinking about putting 1 strip on my daughters 30 gal.

If you do, let me know what you think. I've got three of the single bulbs on my 90gal and it's pretty dim. I kind of want to go a bit brighter but not Aquablue bright.

OK will do. I'd also like to see what they would look like on my 100 gal. May have to play around a bit.
