I came up with a new way to feed my BTAs tell me what you think.
I had two problems, my BTAs would spit up chunks of food if they were too large and also it was difficult for me to get enough small pieces of food in the anenomes mouth before it either floated into the water column or the clowns dug it out. Giving an anenome frozen food is not good so feeding cyclop-eeze or mysis didn't give my BTAs much to snack on. So I started pulverizing mysis shrimp and mixing it with cyclop-eeze and a couple of table spoons of tank water. I stick that into a pipet and put it right over the BTAs mouth. As I slowly squirt out the food the BTA closes all around allowing me to give a lot of food to it. I have yet to see anything spit out and it is so easy that I am feeding 5 days a week.
When I have a little left in the bowl I stick the pipet in the water and slowy squirt it into my female cinnamon's mouth. She loves getting a mouthful of cyclop-eeze without chasing little small pieces around the tank. She gets so excited when I put the pipet in the tank she almost jumps out to get at it. I have to watch it though I was kalking a aipstia today and she wanted to get a mouthfull of that to because it was in a pipet.
