Well I'm not sure what this would be, most likely a Pico. Its going to go on my desk at work :)

The tank is about 2.1 Gal. 13" L x 5 1/4" W x 7" T. It has a 120 GPH pump that comes out in a spray bar. A 50 watt heater and a 15 Watt Power compact 6500 K Bulb.

I have a mostly sealed electrical compartment in the acrylic hood (see pics) and a fan that blows directly on the bulb as well as keep the water cool and hopefully the electrical compartment dry :)

I cant figure out how to easily attach all the pics so check out the link.

Thats freakin sweet. one idea. you should put some black vinyl on the back to cover the goods, like the pump and heater. just leave open the side thats gonna face you so you know when the water level is low.

Good idea :). Also the waterlevel should never get low as it has an auto topoff :D

I put 2 moonlights in it last night too :) It helps add color to the corals in the day and at night looks moonie hah

Not sure yet :). I want a few shrimp most likely a Pederson Shrimp and 2 bumble Bee shrimps. Some zoa's for sure and maybe some little frags or acan lords I have but i havent decided on that yet :)

I half thought about a Clown goby but since the tank is only 2.1 gal i dont want to overload it what do you think? I know if I dont have any fish the first thing EVERYONE is going to say..... WHERES THE FISH!!! haha

Im going to pick me up a 50/50 bulb today my 6500K one looks really yellow once i put sand in it haha

Well iv got it at work now woohoo that was a pain but went easer than i expected. The temp is perfect its real cold in my office and the heater is keeping the tank right at 78 degree all the time.

Iv got some rock in it i may bring alittle more...

Right now I have 5 snails, 5 hermits, 1 conch (small) a Ric 2 Mushrooms some green stars and zoa's and finely a featherduster worm. Also I have a black sea slug in it.

Im hoping to get my pederson, 2 bumble bee and 1 sexy shrimps soon.

The only annoying thing is the FIRST thing anyone says... "Wheres the fish?" I may end up finding a small yellow clown goby for it.

I put two bumblebee shrimp in my 12 gallon. Haven't seen them since. Not sure if they are that shy or something ate them. Everything else is active / visible.
May want to look for an alternative.

They eat the tube feet of echinoderms, just like harlequins.
While it says that they don't need tube feet of starfish to survive, I don't really trust all the info off this site. I've found several other sites that say that's all they eat.

Anyone manage to keep one alive long-term without feeding them starfish?

Nick,

That is a SWEET tank. How much are you going to charge to make one? That is the best looking nano tank and canopy I've seen in a long time, love the blue.

Very nice. I love your creativity. What are the extra ports in the canopy up by the power switch?

What are the two acrylic bumps at the top of the tank, under the top lip?
