My watchmen goby looks different today (1 Viewer)

Went out of town Friday and came back Sunday to a completely different looking goby. I have had this pair for maybe 3 or 4 years maybe longer and all of a sudden one changed colors. Kind of scared me cause I wasn't expecting it when I seen it. I wonder what could have triggered it. Here is before I left and here is when I came back. Looks freaky haha

If you believe google, that's a pretty common thing for the female to change to grey.

Yea far as color I've read it happens but just surprised me after years it just happens lol.
