I have a couples big colonies of zoas. And my fish are the reef safe. hippo, yellow tang, salfin tang, in one day they are nip all my zoas. I really don't know what is going on????? :mad: :mad: :mad: :cry: :cry: . Any of you have the save problem? My only guess is they need seaweed or there are something wrong with my water. PLEASE HELP. Thanks

those fish have been rumored to nip here and there. marc from melev's reef had a video of a blue hippo tang that he removed because it was eating zoas. these fish are all grazers, and will pick the rock and eat at whatever is available to them. if they like it, they will eat it all! try feeding nori or if you don't have that, fresh green veggies like lettuce.

them not getting enough to eat will cause them to try and find other food sources, i.e. your zoas.
